ModSecurity依赖于可从MaxMind（http://www.maxmind.com）获得的免费地理位置数据库（GeoLite City和GeoLite Country）。 目前ModSecurity只支持传统的GeoIP格式。 Maxmind的新版GeoIP2格式目前尚未支持。
